Hot tips

• “The first time you use your new banneton condition it by lightly misting with water then dust it with flour and tip out the excess before using”.

• For a delicious and crispy crust sprinkle or brush water on the bread before putting it into the preheated oven.

• If you wish to clean your banneton, do so carefully and sparingly. Soak it in cold water for a few minutes, scrubbing it gently, and never use soap.
